Cultural Coherence and Diversity

                                  
Australia is an egalitarian society, which means that there are no formal class distinctions. Which also means that hard working committed people without high-level connection can still become highly ambitious. The unemployment rate in Australia is significantly low and the gross per capita income is around $39 000.

Language

Everyone in Australia is encouraged to learn English because its the universal language however more than 15% of Australian speak other languages at home other than English. The most commonly being Italian, Greek, Cantonese, Arabic, Vietnamese and Mandarin. Australians speak more than 200 languages, including that of the Indigenous Australian languages.

Religion

 Australia is a predominantly a Christian country. Around 64 per cent of all Australians identifying themselves as Christians.Australia’s earliest religions or spiritual beliefs go back to when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples inhabited Australia for between 40,000 and 60,000 years ago but primarily has no official state religion. The people are free to practise any religion they choose or none as long as they obey the law.
